So, I’m back. Sorry about essentially missing the last three weeks. I had a week of vacation, followed by a week of moving, followed by a week of EIW (early interview week, for those not law-school inclined). But, classes start again on Tuesday, and a more regular schedule will be far more conducive to more [...]

Well, I’m back from vacation, but since I’m moving on Saturday, suffice it to say that I probably won’t be blogging regularly until next Monday or Tuesday.
I do want to thank everyone that checks the site, and I promise to do better starting next week!

(Note: This post is mostly an expansion on posts I left here and here today. I wanted to take the space to thresh out the ideas more fully, so here you go.)
(NOTE: I will be going on my first real vacation in several years on Saturday, and thus might not have another post up for [...]
Apparently Safeco Field is built on top of Union Station, and I am fascinated by rare pitches.

Is there anything more distracting than nearly constant train whistles as one is trying to pitch? I know I was gritting my teet the whole time I was watching this whole series. My favorite moment of the series was yesterday, when R.A. Dickey accidentally threw a 52-mph eephus pitch by accident when a train whistle [...]

I apologize for not having a game wrap post up tonight; I imagine that there are many others that will have great info on what happened. But I just wanted to let you all know what is going on with me that is making blogging, well, painful.
About four months ago, before I started this blog, [...]

Edit (Sunday, Aug. 3, 1:12 am): Daymonster, the author of the post that prompted this post and much other discussion, has resigned from Alright Hamilton!. While some people might think that is the end of the “controversy,” it is just the end of this one instance. Sexism is very real in the world, on the [...]

Okay, so after the Yankees series, I had to take a break. I have said before that I am a law student, and this week was bidding period for Early Interview Week (EIW), which is an incredibly complicated process. For those non-law students among you, EIW is the last week before classes where rising 2Ls [...]
